Seabuckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides)
A perennial shrub and nitrogen fixer. A very heavy producer of bright orange berries that make highly nutritious juice. Grows in sandy and well drained areas.
Stratification is required to achieve good germination. Place seeds in moist sand or peat moss within a sealed container and place in the fridge for 90 days to break dormancy before planting seed in spring or early summer.
