Some flowers need a little extra time to reach their full potential. Ideally these flowers are started mid winter, approximately 8-12 weeks ahead of your last spring frost. Getting them started indoors allows them to reach maturity during our shorter growing seasons.
We’ve always prioritized growing our own food, but right now we’re feeling particularly excited about flowers! To help us all succeed in our flower gardens we’ve created a Flower Seed Starting Guide.
Some veggies need a little extra time if you want to optimize our short growing seasons. We’ve written a brand new article that takes a closer look at these early plants & explores how to get them off to a great start.
