Golden Greek Pepperoncini Peppers are a classically pickled variety, typically whole. Their small stature and thin skin make them perfect for pickling. Plants are quite compact with loads of fruit on each one. Peppers will start off pale yellow, almost golden green, and will ripen to bright red if left on the plant. Golden Greek Pepperoncini Peppers are best picked when young and still yellow, their flavour is sweeter and mild. As they mature to red, their heat increases to about 100-500 Scoville Units and they lose some of their sweetness. We love adding pickled peppers to charcuterie boards throughout the Winter. Enjoy!
