Vermont Cranberry Bush Beans are an heirloom variety from before the 1800's. Not to be confused with the true Red Cranberry Pole Bean, whose beans are dark red and round. This lovely bush variety is easy to shell, has dark pink coloured beans with dark cranberry speckles on them. Vermont Cranberry Bush Beans are an early maturing and reliable variety. Can be enjoyed as a shell bean too, just when the beans are formed, but before they're fully dried.
