Dry Bean Seeds - Arikara Yellow Bush
(Phaseolus vulgaris) 80-90 days. Heirloom Bush Bean, Arikara Nation, time immemorial. (First document by white pioneers in 1914, North Dakota)
Arikara bush bean is a prolific producer. Beans are yellowish-tan and best when dried for later used. Excellent in soups, stews, baked or cooked, then ground as a spread (like humus).
Plants are very drought tolerant.
Dought tolerant, but they still need water. Thank you to the Arikara people who, along side so many others, raised your voices and risked your lives & freedom to challenge the Dakota Access Pipeline. You have helped bring water security to the mainstream consciousness.
