Bean Seeds, Bush - Brighstone (Dry)
(Phaseolus vulgaris) 90 days to maturity.
Brighstone Beans are named after the small village of Brighstone, on the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom. Legend has it, the beans were saved from a shipwreck just off the island coast in the 1800s. They were then grown out by islanders for generations. The Heritage Seed Library and its dedicated volunteers, helped grow this variety out, bringing it back once again from almost perishing. Brighstone Beans have a creamy texture, the perfect balance between a pinto and kidney bean. They are early maturing with high yields, a new garden favourite for every bean lover!
