Good Mother Stallard Beans are a must grow for any bean lover. An heirloom from the 1930’s, they have a rich, complex flavour that will elevate your favourite stew or soup recipes. Both blooms and beans are beautiful, with blush coloured flowers turning into green pods with 5-6 beans in each. Beans are a deep maroon colour that look like marbles, with swirls of cream stamped on. Good Mother Stallard Beans have a similar flavour to both Whipple or Eye of Goat beans, and keep their shape well when cooked.
