Milkweed Seeds - Swamp Milkweed

(Asclepias incarnata) Perennial (zone 3-8). 

The beautiful Swamp Milkweed is native to central and eastern North America. Attractive to Monarch butterflies and needed by them for reproduction.  The flowers have a lovely scent of vanilla. Swamp Milkweed is very adaptable to home gardens and tolerates heavy clay and wet ground very well.

Contrary to Common Milkweed, these plants have many branches & the leaves are more slender.
