Golden Chain tree is a beautiful tree, with long wisteria-like yellow flowers that present in late Spring, followed by long stringy pods. Flowers of Laburnum anagyroides vulgare are 4-8 inches long. Laburnum is commonly used in garden pergolas to form luxurious floral passage ways.

- After scarification, soak seeds for 24 hrs, starting with hot water and allowing to cool to room temperature..

- Plant soaked seeds in pots or a nursery bed using standard potting soil. Heat mats are NOT required & can hinder germination!

- Protect young tree seedlings from slugs, cutworms & rodents. Slugs especially can eat primary leaves as soon as they come up, so be vigilant!
