Mustard Seeds - Lady Murasaki
Lady Murasaki is one of the darkest, deepest purple mustards we've come across! Mild in flavour and bolt resistant.
Named for the eleventh century Japanese noblewoman and author Murasaki Shikibu, her name, Murasaki, meaning "purple."
She lived in the early 1000s and wrote the famed "Tale of Genji" (源氏物語). The book tells the story of a low ranking son of an emperor, who is disowned from the royal family and forced to live as a commoner. The Tale of Genji is considered by many to be humanity's first published novel.
