Grape Vines, Green - Adalmiina
(Vitis vinifera) Deciduous. Zones 4-7.
Adalmiina is a rare but complex Grape cultivar that grows very well in Quebec and other cold Northern climates.
The vigorous vines produce a wonderful golden green table grape, medium clusters of tender grapes that are sweet and juicy. Fruit ripens in September, and is sweeter after a frost. In wine making, it is notable for its fresh apple and citrus aroma and refreshing, mineral flavour.
The Queen of fruits, the grape has a long history and has been harvested for medicinal and nutritional purposes since Neolithic times. They are known to improve heart health, prevent numerous disorders and ailments, and are high in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Adalmiina Grape is highly disease resistant and extremely cold hardy. It does best in full sun and prefers well-drained soil, but it is quite adaptable.
