Very productive, 4 foot plants. Called one of the best in the Solar System and we would definitely agree! Named for the pioneering Soviet cosmonaut Vladislav Volkov. In 1971, Volkov spent 23 days aboard the very first space station, Salyut 1. On June 30, 1971 he and two comrads died while returning to Earth.
