Its head is much looser than other Asian cabbages, with frilly light green outer leaves. It has a mild flavour, that can be enjoyed both raw or cooked in stirfry's. Kogane Japanese Cabbage prefers cooler growing temperatures and is best planted in the spring or late summer.
