This wonderful Russian apple cultivar can withstand some of the coldest north American winters, and is popular as a root stock for grafting other cultivars. Sometimes called 'The People's Apple';  the trees grow true from seed and produce a low sugar, late fruiting apple that is great for pies and cider!

This is a great rootstock apple tree with fruit that is ideal for cooking.
