Black Eagle Wheat Seeds
Black Eagle wheat is a lovely dual purpose plant. For decorative purposes, in the garden or Autumn vase, its plumy black awns (the tufts at the top of a wheat stock) just pop! As a food crop, Black Eagle falls into the hard red wheat category and can be harvested when the grains become visibly plump and slightly reddish in colour. Bundle the stocks, allow them to dry fully and winnow out your homegrown grains! Direct sow in Spring, as soon at the soil is workable. Wheat requires full Sun.
Each Packet contains about 75 heirloom wheat seeds.
