Sun Requirements: Full Sun

Soil Preference: Rich, moist, well-drained soil

When to Plant: Direct seed in Spring after last frost OR sow indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost. 

How to Plant:  To aid germination, scarify seeds and soak in warm water for 24 hours before sowing.

Direct sow:  sow seeds ½” deep in soil and cover well as seeds need darkness to germinate. Germination should take 21-28 days. 

Transplant:  sow seeds indoors in containers, ½” deep in soil and cover well as seeds need darkness to germinate. Germination should take 21-28 days.

How / When to Harvest:  Harvest flowers on their stems when one or two blooms are open. Pick flowers regularly through Summer to prolong blooming.
